Margaret was born in New York City weighing 2 pounds 1 ounce and grew up in Southern California. She moved to Houston in high school and graduated from Memorial High School. She earned a degree in linguistics from UT Austin and a master’s degree in Reading and Language Arts from the University of Houston.
She loves teaching and has felt called by God to teach many things. Over the years she has taught English as a Second Language to adults from over 35 countries, 4th and 5th grade history and geography, grammar and composition at HCC, and, her favorite thing to teach, the Word of God through Community Bible Study.
Margaret gave Jesus control of her life in 1992 and has been a member of St. Andrew’s since the mid-1990s. She loves serving others, and serving her church family and the guests who meet in our building are a source of joy and life for her.
